# Exploring the IT Remediation Workspace

The IT Remediation Workspace is intended for IT remediation owners and IT groups. It is composed of home and list views as well as data visualizations that you can click that let you see the remediation tasks you've been assigned and how many records assigned to you have solutions.

**Note:** Starting version 30.1.4, the Remediation view in Unified Security Exposure Management \(USEM\) is the workspace for performing remediation activities. All functionality available in the IT Remediation workspace is also supported here. Role required:

-   sn\_vul.remediation\_owner for host vulnerable items \(VITs\)
-   sn\_vul.app\_security\_champion for application vulnerable items \(AVITs\)
-   sn\_vul\_container.remediation\_owner for container vulnerable items \(CVITs\)
-   sn\_vulc.remediation\_owner for configuration test results \(CTRs\)

**Note:** Starting with v19.0 of Vulnerability Response, the following terms have been renamed:

The IT Remediation Workspace consists of the following pages, lists, and forms:

-   **Landing \(Home\) page**

    The Home page consists of the Assigned remediation tasks card, Preferred solutions on VIs card, Impacted CIs card, Preferred patches on VIs card, and Remediation tasks list. -   **Dashboards page**

    The dashboards page consists of the Vulnerability Remediation dashboard. -   **List page**
