Define and manage data classifications within TISC.

Data Sources represent broad categories of security telemetry. Data Components provide a more granular breakdown of the specific type of data collected within a source.

These records support consistent documentation of detection coverage and analytical context. You can associate data sources and components with relevant threat entities to identify required telemetry, assess monitoring gaps, and support detection engineering and threat analysis activities.
