If you delete a watch topic before all its associated records are fixed, the records that are displayed with that watch topic aren’t affected. ## Procedure 1. Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Vulnerability Manager Workspace** > **Watch Topics**. 2. Open the watch topic that you want to edit. 3. Click the three dots \[Omitted image "dlp-threedot-icon.png"\] Alt text: More icon and click **Edit**. **Note:** You can’t edit an inactive watch topic. 4. In the Edit watch topic modal, modify the fields. 5. Click **Submit**. **Note:** You might notice a delay before current data is displayed for a watch topic after you change the filtering. You can also edit existing recurring remediation efforts. If there’s an existing recurring remediation effort for a watch topic, **Edit recurring effort** is available from the menu. Select this option to edit the recurring effort. Any changes that you make and save to the remediation effort record don’t affect any of the other remediation efforts that you have already created from the watch topic. 6. To delete a watch topic, select three dots menu \[Omitted image "dlp-threedot-icon.png"\] Alt text: More icon on the watch topic and select **Delete**. **Parent Topic:**[Use watch topics in the Vulnerability Manager Workspace](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/security-management/vulnerability-manager-workspace/vr-ws-wtopic-ui-options.md)
