# Approve or reject a false positive

As a false positive approver, you can approve or reject false positive requests from other users.

**Important:**

As a false positive approver, you can approve or reject the false positive requests in the Vulnerability Manager Workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required:

-   sn\_vul.false\_positive\_approver for vulnerable items
-   sn\_vul.app\_false\_positive\_approver for application vulnerable items

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Vulnerability Response** > **Vulnerabilities** > **My Approvals**.

2.  Select a request from your queue.

3.  Approve or reject the request with appropriate comments.

    **Note:** A false positive can be time bound. Only the approver can set the end date.
