# Configure auto-close manual detections

Enable the auto-close manual detections to close stale manual detections automatically.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_vul.vulnerability\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Vulnerability Response** > **Manual Vulnerable Item Ingestion** > **Upload File UI**.

2.  Click **Change Auto-Close Configuration**.

3.  Click the **Manual Detections** tab.

4.  Make sure the **Auto-close manual detections** check box is selected.

5.  In the **Manual detections last found \(days ago\)** field, enter the number of days after which the manual detections should be closed.

    The default is 90 days. You can enter any positive value for the number of days.
