# Install the Vulnerability Response Patch Orchestration with HCL BigFix application

Download the Vulnerability Response Patch Orchestration with HCL BigFix application from the ServiceNow® Store.

## Before you begin

Roles required: admin for initial assignment of the sn\_vul.vulnerability\_admin role and installing the application. Vulnerability admin \(sn\_vul.vulnerability\_admin or sn\_vul.admin \(deprecated\)\) to configure the Vulnerability Response Patch Orchestration with HCL BigFix and other applications after they are installed.

Before you install the application, verify you have completed all the items in the checklist in [Prepare for the Vulnerability Response Patch Orchestration integration with HCL BigFix](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/security-management/vulnerability-response/vr-bigfix-setup-checklist.md).

**Note:** This process applies only to applications that are downloaded to production instances. If you're downloading applications to non-production or development instances, it's not necessary to get entitlements. Proceed to [Activate a ServiceNow Store application](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/security-management/activate-entitled-store-app.md).

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **System Applications** > **all Available Applications** > **All**.

2.  Locate the **Vulnerability Response Patch Orchestration with HCL BigFix** application and click **Install**.

    This action installs the application you downloaded from the ServiceNow Store.

3.  Alternatively, you can install applications from the Setup Assistant.
