# Compare APIs in API Insights

Compare APIs available within your organization in the API Insights workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_api\_insights\_ws.api\_mgmt\_architect or sn\_cmdb\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **API Insights**.

2.  In the **Search APIs** text box on the Overview tab, enter your search phrase and select **Search**.

3.  On the Search results page, select the **APIs** tab.

4.  Select the check boxes next to the Name column for APIs that you want to compare.

    **Note:** You can select up to three APIs to compare.

5.  Select **Compare selected**.

6.  On the Compare APIs page, compare the selected APIs based on version, type, business context also called as business application, managed by group, life cycle stage, and sources.
