# Exploring Service Administration

Configure settings for services that support business applications or the platform.

The Assessments and Surveys application helps you create, send, and collect responses for surveys. The application also helps you evaluate, score, and rank records from any table in the system.

Classic approvals are records that store the authorization tasks that must be done to approve or reject a request. Approval records are typically created by a Workflow Studio flow or classic workflow. An approval defines both the approval tasks and the users or groups are assigned to approve or reject them.

State flows enable an administrator to customize transitions from one state to another in tables derived from the Task \[task\] table and configure the system to perform work during transitions to specific states.

The geolocation feature uses Google Maps to track users, plan efficient routes between locations, and assist in finding accurate travel times for applications that require this information, such as Work Management.
