# Exploring CMDB Health

## CMDB Health overview

CMDB Health Monitors and helps maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the CMDB, using health benchmarks specified for the organization. CMDB Health evaluates Health indicators such as duplicate CIs, required CI fields, and audits and aggregates them into health scores at the class, health group, and service levels. CMDB Health also provides a framework for applying standardized CI remediation for health issues that are detected.

## CMDB Health benefits

CMDB Health is configurable so you can track specific areas of concern. It provides dashboards with aggregated numbers that you can easily glance and drill-down to locate the source of a problem.
