# Supported browsers for Connect Chat

The system supports Connect Chat on most modern browsers.

**Important:**

Core UI is required to use Connect Chat. Connect Chat is not supported in Next Experience. If you turn on Next Experience, Connect Chat will no longer work. See [Next Experience UI](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/next-experience-landing-page.md) for more information.

-   The latest public release of Firefox or Firefox ESR
-   The latest public release of Chrome
-   Safari version 9.1 and later
-   Microsoft Edge version 90
