# Enable viewing related documents in a parent record

Add the Documents related list to the record to be able to link and view documents related to the record.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to the record, \(for example, Incident, Interaction, and so on\).

2.  Select the Additional Actions icon \(\[Omitted image "additional-actions-icon.png"\] Alt text: Additional actions icon\) and select **Configure** > **Related Lists**.

3.  Move **Documents** from the Available list to the Selected list.

4.  Select **Save**.


## Result

The Documents related list is added to the related lists available in the record.
