# Insert an image in a knowledge article

Insert an image in a knowledge article using the HTML editor.

## Before you begin

Role required: user with contribute access

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Knowledge** > **Articles** > **All**.

2.  Select a knowledge article.

3.  On the knowledge article form, in the **Article body** field, place the cursor where you want to insert an image.

4.  On the HTML editor toolbar, select the Insert/edit image icon .

5.  On the Insert/Edit Image dialog box, select the Upload icon \(.

6.  Select an image.

7.  Select **Open**.

8.  Select **Save**.


## Result

The image is included in the knowledge article.
