# Configure AI skills for merging articles

To merge the duplicate knowledge articles, activate AI skills for merging the duplicate articles. Once configured, these skills enable the system to merge duplicate articles effectively, ensuring consistent and streamlined content management.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **AI Admin** > **AI Skills** > **Platform** > **knowledge**.

2.  Select the **Merge duplicate articles** to activate or deactivate the skill.


## Result

Verify that the skills display an **Active** or **Deactivated** status based on your selection. Once activated, you can merge duplicate articles.
