# Set APO properties

Use the APO properties form to set the parameters that control the invoice line mapping, invoice ingestion API and exception management.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Accounts Payable Operations** > **Properties**.

    The Accounts Payable Operations properties page appears. you're prompted with a message, "This record is in the Accounts Payable Invoice Processing application, but Global is the current application. To edit this record, click here." On selecting, you're prompted with a message, "You're editing a record in the Accounts Payable Invoice Processing application."

2.  If you aren’t able to edit the property in the current application scope, select the word here in the message at the top of the page.

    You're prompted with a message, "You're editing a record in the Accounts Payable Invoice Processing application."

3.  To cancel without saving, select **Cancel**.

4.  Select **Save**.

    The changes to the application scope are saved.
