Field descriptions for the Invoice Tax Lines tab used to record tax details for invoice lines.

## Invoice Tax lines fields

The following table displays the fields in the invoice tax lines tab.

|Field|Description|
|-----|-----------|
|Invoice Case|
|Number|A unique system-generated number, which identifies the tax line.|
|Tax type|Type of the tax applicable on the invoice.|
|Taxable amount|The amount of tax applicable on an invoice.|
|Supplier tax rate|The tax rate charged by the supplier.|
|Supplier tax|The amount charged by the supplier.|
|System tax rate|The tax rate calculated by the third-party tax calculation engine.|
|Final tax|The tax amount paid for this invoice.|
|Invoice line|Invoice line for which the tax is applicable.|
|Invoice|Invoice for which this tax is applicable.|
|Jurisdiction|Taxing jurisdiction that applies to the tax line, as determined by the third-party tax calculation engine. For example, Santa Clara County. It can also be populated if it is mapped to tax type|
|Jurisdiction type|Level of the taxing jurisdiction, such as District, State, County, or City. This field is populated based on the jurisdiction|
|Tax authority|Taxing authority or tax levy that imposes the tax within the jurisdiction. For example, Local Sales and Use Tax.|
