# Send emails from Finance Operations Workspace

Send emails related to a specific finance case.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_fin\_ops.specialist

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to either of the following:

    -   **All** > **Finance Operations** > **Finance Operations Workspace**.
    -   **Workspaces** > **Finance Operations Workspace**.
2.  In the Finance Operations workspace, select the List icon \[Omitted image "fin-ops-list-icon.png"\] Alt text:.

3.  From the list page, navigate to either of the following submodules:

    -   **My work** > **Open cases**
    -   **All work** > **Cases**
4.  From the Compose section, select **Email**.

5.  Enter the recipient name in the **To** field.

    You can also select **Cc** or **Bcc** and enter the names.

6.  Change the subject, if necessary.

    By default, the subject is the finance case number and the short description.

7.  Enter the email body, if necessary.

    By default, the email body contains the link to the finance case. You can also use the email templates. For more information on email templates, see [Email templates](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-administration/c_EmailTemplates.md).

8.  Select **Send mail**.\[Omitted image "fin-ops-email.png"\] Alt text: Send emails


## Result

The email is sent to the recipients. You can view the details of the sent email in the **Emails** tab.
