Request the contextual generative AI capabilities to summarize procurement-related records in the ServiceNow Otto for Sourcing and Procurement Operations \(SPO\) application by using the conversational interface in the ServiceNow Otto panel.

## Before you begin

Make sure that Next Experience is enabled in the instance. For more information, see [Next Experience UI](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/next-experience-landing-page.md).

Make sure that [AI search](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-administration/configuring-ais.md) and ServiceNow Otto panel are enabled in the instance.

Role required: sn\_spend\_gen\_ai.servicenow\_otto\_fulfiller

## About this task

You can use the ServiceNow Otto panel in Source-to-Pay Workspace to summarize procurement-related records.

## Procedure

1.  Log in to an instance where the ServiceNow Otto for SPO application is installed.

2.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Source-to-Pay Workspace**.

3.  Request the generative AI capabilities in SPO for procurement-related records for the following skills by selecting the ServiceNow Otto icon \[Omitted image "icon-ai-sparkle.png"\] Alt text: ServiceNow Otto icon.:

    -   Sourcing request summarization for fulfillers
    -   Purchase requisition summarization for fulfillers
    -   Procurement case summarization for fulfillers
    -   Negotiation summarization for fulfillers
    -   Sourcing event summarization for fulfillers
4.  After you request the generative AI capabilities, you can summarize procurement-related records.
