Generate an email response for supplier tasks.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_supplier\_gen\_ai.now\_assist\_fulfiller and sn\_slm.fulfiller

## About this task

The Email response skill uses supplier task details such as task type, short description, description, work notes, activity stream, additional comments, related records, and relevant knowledge base articles to compose an email response. You can also use this skill to elaborate, shorten, or change the tone of your email draft.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Supplier Lifecycle Operations** > **Source-to-Pay Workspace**.

2.  Select the list icon \[Omitted image "cases-list-icon.png"\] Alt text: List icon..

3.  Go to **Tasks** > **Open**.

4.  Select a supplier task.

    The task detail view appears.

5.  Go to the **Email** tab.

6.  Select anywhere within the email body textbox.

7.  Generate an email draft by selecting the ServiceNow Otto icon \[Omitted image "icon-ai-sparkle.png"\] Alt text: Sparkle icon for ServiceNow Otto.

8.  Select **Insert**.

9.  Elaborate, shorten, or change the tone of an email body.

    1.  Select the required content.

    2.  Select the ServiceNow Otto icon \[Omitted image "icon-ai-sparkle.png"\] Alt text: Sparkle icon for ServiceNow Otto.

10. Apply templates by selecting the template icon\[Omitted image "apply-template-icon.png"\].


## Result

An AI generated email draft is created.
