# Customize a summary card for service summary

Customize the summary card of the service summary and UI actions according to your needs.

## Before you begin

Role required: Admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Quick Actions** > **Now Assist context menu Actions**.

2.  In the Quick Actions list, select **Generate Service Summary** record.

3.  Select **here** if you see the notice that says:

    This record is in the ServiceNow Otto for Telecommunications, Media, and Technology \(TMT\) application, but Global is the current application. To edit this record, click **here**.

4.  On the record, update the fields.

5.  Select **Update**.
