# DesignVault Design

Use this skill when the work is still design, not implementation. The goal is to move from unstable discussion to one executable plan without turning the plan into a second wiki.

## Read Order

1. Read `references/workflow.md`.
2. Read `references/design.md`.
3. Read the smallest relevant wiki pages in the target vault.

## Default Flow

1. Read current truth first.
2. Enter a focused `grill me` loop.
3. Summarize what is stable and what is still risky.
4. Write or update longform only when durable synthesis helps.
5. Promote stable truth into wiki pages.
6. End with one execution plan.

## Guardrails

- Do not jump to code.
- Do not skip questions just because a plausible plan is easy to imagine.
- Do not bury major ambiguity in longform.
- Do not let the execution plan become shadow truth.
- If the task has meaningful UI implementation-boundary risk, use `../designvault-ui-handoff/` before locking the plan.
