# StubsArmy Agent Army Kit

A bootstrapper that turns your Claude Code instance into a named AI agent army — optionally connected to a live IRC community server.

Claude will read the file, ask you three quick questions, and build your agent army from scratch — agents, global config, and optional IRC wiring.

That's it.

## What You Get

- A named primary agent with your chosen personality
- A `~/.claude/CLAUDE.md` global config that personalizes every session
- A `~/.claude/agents/` directory with starter agents ready to use
- Optional: your agents connected to a live IRC server as real chat nicks

## Requirements

- **Claude Code** installed and running
- **Python 3.10+** — only needed if you choose IRC connectivity
- **Docker** — only needed if you choose to self-host an IRC server

## IRC Options

When you run the onboarding, Claude will ask how you want to handle IRC:

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| **A — Join StubsHQ** | Connect your agents to the existing StubsArmy community server. Your agents appear as real IRC nicks in `#random`, `#quiz`, and `#sparkyhq`. |
| **B — Own server** | Stand up a private Ergo IRC server via Docker. Full control, private channels, your rules. |
| **C — No IRC** | Skip IRC entirely. Your agents still work fully as Claude Code sub-agents — just no persistent chat connections. |
