Unlock is designed with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. We do not collect personal data, create user accounts, or sell any information to third parties.
None. All habit data, XP, streaks, and app blocking rules are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Unlock uses Apple's Family Controls framework to block apps. The list of apps you choose to block is stored on your device only. We never see, transmit, or store information about which apps you block.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only an anonymised transaction confirmation. We never see your payment details, Apple ID, or purchase history.
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs. We do not collect crash reports, usage statistics, or behavioural data.
If you enable the Apple Health integration, data is read on-device only to auto-complete habits. Health data is never uploaded, stored outside the device, or shared with any party.
Notification preferences are stored on-device. We use Apple's Push Notification service only to deliver the reminders you configure. No notification content is logged or transmitted to our servers.
Unlock does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for users aged 13 and over.
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the 'Last Updated' date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
