# Privacy Policy for VIBE SHIFT

VIBE SHIFT is a local-first developer tool. We value your privacy and do not collect your data.

### 1. Data Collection
VIBE SHIFT does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, or code snippets to any external servers. All data remains on your local machine.

### 2. Local Storage
All notes, linked file paths, and activation states are stored locally within your browser using the `chrome.storage.local` API. This data never leaves your device.

### 3. Permissions Justification
* **sidePanel:** Used to provide a persistent workspace for your notes and file links.
* **storage:** Used to save your notes and settings across browser sessions.
* **clipboardRead:** Used only when you click the "Clipboard" icon to inject code into your linked files.

### 4. Payments
Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your credit card information.
