# Privacy Policy — True Ignore (for EXBO Forum) _Last updated: 17 September 2026_ This Privacy Policy describes how the browser extension **"True Ignore (for EXBO Forum)"** (the "Extension") handles information. The Extension is developed by Nikita Bezrukov and published by the STALCRAFT LAB community. ## Summary The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It has no backend server, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything it does happens locally in your browser. ## Information the Extension stores The Extension stores the following data locally, using the browser's `storage.local` API: - Your three on/off preferences: hide discussions, hide messages in discussions, hide notifications. - The list of forum nicknames you have added to your ignore list on the forum. This list is read from the forum's own "ignored users" page when you open it, and is used only to match and hide content from those users. This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to the developer or to any third party. Removing the Extension deletes it. ## Information the Extension does not collect - No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials. - No IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or location data. - No browsing history and no data from any site other than the forums listed below. - No message contents, and no server logs of any kind — the Extension has no server. ## Where the Extension runs The Extension is limited to the EXBO forum: - `https://forum.exbo.net/*` - `https://forum.exbo.ru/*` It does not run on any other website. ## Why the Extension asks for its permissions - `storage` — to save your preferences and your ignore list on your own device. - `tabs` — to read the address of the forum tab, so the Extension knows whether it is on the discussion feed, inside a discussion, or on the ignored-users page, and can run the matching feature. - Host access to the two forum domains — to read the page content and hide posts from ignored users. No permission is used for any purpose other than the ones stated above. ## Third parties The Extension does not contain advertising, trackers, or third-party analytics, and does not load any remote code. The Extension's popup contains links to external sites (VK, YouTube, GitHub, Discord). Opening them is entirely your choice, and those sites are governed by their own privacy policies. ## Children's information The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. ## Your rights (GDPR / CCPA) Because the Extension collects no personal data and holds no records about you, there is nothing for the developer to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or sell on your behalf. The locally stored data described above is under your own control: you can clear it at any time by removing the Extension or by clearing the browser's extension storage. ## Changes to this Privacy Policy This policy may be updated from time to time. Any change will ship with a new version of the Extension, and the "Last updated" date above will change. ## Contact Questions or suggestions about this policy can be sent through the project's issue tracker at .
