# Managing Agents

The Agent Panel is your control center for activating, configuring, and organizing agents.

## Agent Panel

The Agent Panel opens as a side panel showing all available agents. Each agent displays its name, icon, color, and active status.


## Selecting an Agent

Tap an agent card to activate it. The agent's name appears in the composer area, confirming it's active. Tap again to deactivate.

When an agent is active:

- Its system instructions are included in every message you send.
- Only its enabled tools are available to the AI.
- Its preferred model is used (if set).

A toast notification confirms activation and deactivation.

## Searching Agents

Use the search bar at the top of the Agent Panel to filter agents by name. Useful when you have many agents imported.

## Favoriting Tools

Star specific MCP tools for quick access. Favorited tools persist across sessions and can be bulk-activated with one click.

## Agent Tool Control

Each agent defines which integrations it can use. In the Agent Panel:

- Toggle individual MCP tools on or off.
- Use the master toggle to enable or disable all tools at once.

This gives you fine-grained control over what each agent can access.

## Per-Agent Model Selection

Set a preferred model for each agent from the model dropdown in the Agent Panel. The model persists per session and can be overridden at any time.

## Persistence

Agent selections, tool toggles, and favorites persist across sessions and app restarts. Your configuration is always waiting when you come back.
