At ReelSlider, accessible from the Chrome Web Store, the privacy of our users is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines what information is processed and how it is handled by the extension.

1. Data Collection and Usage
ReelSlider does NOT collect, store, or transmit any user data, personally identifiable information, browsing history, or behavioral metrics. 
All interactions, settings, and preferences are executed entirely inside your local browser.

2. Storage Permission
ReelSlider uses the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage) solely to persist your player preferences (such as default volume level, preferred playback speed, mute state, and looping points). This data is kept locally on your machine and is never shared, transferred, or transmitted to any external servers.

3. Scripting & Host Permissions
The extension requests host permissions for "https://www.instagram.com/*" and "scripting" to overlay video controls (timeline seek bar, speed menu, volume control) and listen for keyboard shortcuts on Instagram pages. The extension does not inspect, read, or modify data on any other websites.

4. Third-Party Sharing
Since we do not collect any data, we do not sell, trade, or transfer any information to third parties.
