--- name: consistency-check description: "Check a film project on untitled.movie for contradictions with canon and for text that still reflects superseded decisions, without editing anything. Use when the author asks whether the documents are consistent, after a decision changed canon, or before a draft is sent out." --- # Consistency check Find contradictions with canon and places that still reflect superseded decisions. ## Before you start This check reads and changes nothing, so it needs no session. Find the project with `list_projects` if you don't have its ID. If the author named documents or topics, keep to them; otherwise check everything. ## Steps 1. Read the active canon and the recent decisions with `get_project_brief`, and what still needs updating with `get_stale_items`. 2. Compare the documents with them (`search_project`, `get_outline`, `read_document`). Look especially for text that still reflects superseded canon. 3. For every hit: quote it, say where it is (document, scene or section) and which label it contradicts. 4. Ask the author about real contradictions as questions. 5. For items of a decision's update list that turn out to be done already, tell the author which ones. Tick them off with `mark_propagated` only when the author agrees. Don't edit any text. If the author asks for something different from these steps, do what the author asks.
