--- name: principles-check description: "Check a document, scene or section of a film project on untitled.movie against the project's principles and their check questions, with a verdict and evidence for each. Use when the author asks whether a text keeps to the project's principles or rules." --- # Principles check ## Before you start This check reads and changes nothing, so it needs no session. Ask what to check if the author hasn't said. ## Steps 1. Read the principles in the working agreement of the brief (`get_project_brief`), then the text to check (`get_outline`, `read_document`). 2. For each principle, answer its check question with a verdict: holds, doesn't hold or not applicable. Quote the evidence. 3. End with the two or three changes that would matter most, as proposals, not as edits. 4. If the author wants the proposals kept, open a session (`start_session`) and add them with `propose`. Don't edit the text. If the author asks for something different from these steps, do what the author asks.
