--- name: storyboard-scenes description: "Plan shots for screenplay scenes on untitled.movie and, once the author agrees, set them up as a storyboard linked to the script. Use when the author asks for a shot list, to storyboard scenes or to plan coverage." --- # Storyboard these scenes A shot list for screenplay scenes, set up as a storyboard that stays linked to the script. ## Before you start Work in a session: unless one is open in this conversation, call `start_session` with the author's request as `trigger` and read the brief it returns. Ask which scenes if the author hasn't said. ## Steps 1. Read the scenes (`get_outline`, `read_document`), the look bible (`list_bible_items` with type `reference`, and `get_bible_item` for its images) and the elements (`list_elements`). 2. Propose a shot list per scene: shot size, angle, movement, what we see, who is in it, the lines it covers and a duration. Every line of action and dialogue should be covered; say where you leave coverage to the board artist. 3. Wait for the author's agreement. 4. Create the scenes with `storyboard_from_scenes` and `shots_per_scene` 0, in a new storyboard (`title`) or in the one the author names (`storyboard_id`). 5. Create the shots with `create_shots`. Fill the metadata: title, description, dialogue, `shot_size` (ECU, CU, MCU, MS, MLS, LS or ELS), `camera_angle`, `camera_movement`, characters and location. Link each shot to the lines it covers with `script_quote`, the exact text from the scene. 6. If the project has a roadmap: set the station `visuals` to in progress with `update_station` unless it already is, and add what you made with `add_outputs`. Leave marking it done to the author. 7. Offer to show the board in the chat with `show_storyboard`. Don't draw or generate images unless the author asks. The panels stay for the artists. If the author asks for something different from these steps, do what the author asks.
