It ships its own CalDAV, CardDAV and WebDAV server with app passwords, so phones, Thunderbird and the Windows Explorer connect directly - no Nextcloud needed. Multiple users, every user database encrypted with SQLCipher, two-factor sign-in (TOTP), light and dark theme. Set DMOFFICE_MASTER_KEY to a long random value (e.g. openssl rand -hex 32) and keep it safe: without it the databases cannot be opened. The first visit of the web UI creates the admin account.
