Chorey Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

## Information We Collect

- **Profile data:** names, avatars, parent/kid role, and optional PIN for parent access.
- **Task and reward data:** chores, rewards, balances, transaction history, and notes.
- **Photos:** optional proof of completion or task instructions.
- **Subscription data:** purchase status and entitlements (handled securely by Apple).

## How We Use Data

- Provide core app functionality (tasks, approvals, rewards, balances).
- Sync family data across devices.
- Verify subscription access.

## Where Data Is Stored

- Family data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in Apple’s CloudKit so family members can sync across devices.
- Subscription data is handled by Apple’s App Store and StoreKit.

## Sharing

- **We do not sell personal data.**
- We share data only with Apple services (iCloud/CloudKit, App Store) to provide syncing and subscriptions.

## Children’s Privacy

- Chorey is intended for family use. Parents/guardians create child profiles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what a parent provides (e.g., a first name or nickname).
- If you believe a child’s information should be removed, contact us at support@chorey.app.

## Your Choices

- You can edit or delete profiles and data within the app.
- You can disable iCloud sync in your device settings.
- You can cancel subscriptions via Apple ID settings.

## Security

- We rely on Apple’s security features for iCloud and App Store transactions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

## Changes

- We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you where required.
