Joseph Campbell, of Elkland Township, Tioga
County, Pa., (now Nelson) son of Joseph and Mary
Harper Campbell, of Scotch parentage, was born in
Ireland December 24th 1793. Ann Clinch, his wife,
was born in England January 27, 1804. They were
married February 29, 1822, and to them were born
twelve children. These children were all born at
Nelson, Pa., on the same farm and the following are
their names and dates of birth:-
