# Privacy Policy — AI Cleaner

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Cleaner ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. AI Cleaner is a photo and video storage management app for iPhone. It is designed to work entirely on your device.

## Summary

- Your photos and videos stay on your device.
- We do not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal data.
- The App has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no advertising.
- Nothing is deleted without your review and confirmation.

## 1. Information the App Accesses

### Photos Library
With your permission, the App reads your Photos library to:
- find exact duplicate photos and videos,
- find similar photos and videos,
- detect blurry photos, screenshots, short videos, and large media,
- recommend a best photo within groups of similar photos,
- calculate the storage used by your photos and videos.

The App reads images, videos, and related metadata (such as file size, resolution, duration, creation date, favorite status, and screenshot status). All analysis is performed locally on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks (Photos, Vision, AVFoundation, Core Image). No photo, video, or analysis result is sent off your device.

You can choose Full Access or Limited Access. With Limited Access, the App can only see the items you select. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › AI Cleaner.

### Adding to your Photos Library
If you use compression, the App saves new, smaller copies of the selected photos or videos to your Photos library. Original items are never removed automatically.

### Device Storage Information
The App reads your device's total and available storage capacity to display storage statistics. This information stays on your device.

### iCloud Photos
If you enable "Scan iCloud Photos" in Settings, iOS may download original photos and videos from your iCloud Photos library to your device so they can be analyzed. This download is handled by Apple's Photos framework under Apple's own privacy policy. The App does not receive or store your iCloud credentials.

## 2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following locally, inside its private app container:
- your settings (such as scan sensitivity, size thresholds, and compression defaults),
- your most recent scan result (asset identifiers, sizes, and analysis scores — not the photos themselves),
- a history of scan summaries (dates, item counts, and estimated cleanup sizes).

This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the App.

## 3. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not:
- require an account or sign-in,
- use analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs,
- display advertising,
- use third-party SDKs that collect data,
- track you across other apps or websites.

## 4. Deleting Photos and Videos

The App never deletes media automatically. Deletion only happens after you:
1. select items,
2. confirm in the App's confirmation screen, and
3. confirm again in the iOS system dialog.

Deleted items are moved to the "Recently Deleted" album in Photos, where they can be restored for up to 30 days before iOS removes them permanently.

## 5. Third-Party Services

The App uses only Apple system features:
- **App Store rating prompt** (StoreKit) — if you choose to rate the App, the interaction is handled by Apple.
- **Share sheet** — if you share a photo or the App link, the content goes only to the destination you choose.

## 6. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

## 7. Your Choices and Rights

- You can grant, limit, or revoke Photos access at any time in iOS Settings.
- You can delete all data stored by the App by deleting the App from your device.
- Because we do not collect personal data, we hold no data about you to access, correct, export, or delete.

## 8. Security

All processing happens on your device and relies on iOS security protections. No data is transmitted over the network by the App.

## 9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
