# Departures experiments

**Current stable: [Departures 0.5.1](../README.md)** ·
[stable UF2](../uf2/Departures_0.5.1.uf2).

No active experimental release. The 0.5.1 pad-balance experiment was preferred
in listening tests and hardware tests were reported passed by Adrian. It was
promoted unchanged to stable 0.5.1 on 8 November 2026.

The [original experiment](https://github.com/soveda/Workshop_Computer/tree/24edd4b7/releases/126_Departures/experimental/0.5.1)
is preserved on the fork. Historical source and firmware are linked from the
[archive index](../archive/README.md); this release includes only the stable UF2.
