# AI transparency notice Factorio Server Control is developed with substantial assistance from generative-AI tools. This notice makes the provenance of the project clear in light of the transparency principles in Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act. ## Where AI assistance is used - Source code, tests, documentation, release notes and interface copy may be drafted, reviewed or revised with generative-AI assistance. - Interface concepts and visual design decisions may be explored with generative-AI assistance. - The application icon, derived favicon/brand-icon variants and maintainer profile artwork contain generative-AI output or were materially edited with generative-AI tools. All accepted changes are directed, selected, reviewed and tested by the maintainer, who retains editorial control and responsibility for the published project. AI output is not accepted as authoritative without review. ## What is not AI-generated at runtime Factorio Server Control is not an AI system and contains no language model, image generator, recommendation model or AI chat function. Running the manager does not send saves, maps, configuration, credentials, logs or usage data to an AI provider. Its factory-map screenshots are deterministic output from the installed Factorio headless engine plus locally rendered entity-footprint overlays; the repository screenshots are captures of the running application rather than synthetic product mock-ups. ## Scope and references This repository-level disclosure applies to the maintained fork and its published packages from version 0.17.0 onward. Historical upstream work predating this fork is attributed separately and is not represented as AI-assisted by this notice. The disclosure is provided for transparency and does not characterize the manager itself as an AI system.
