# Trademark Policy

"TypeWhisper", the TypeWhisper name, and associated logos/app icons are trademarks of the TypeWhisper project owner.

This repository's source code is licensed under GPLv3, but trademark rights are not granted under the open-source license.

## Allowed

- Truthful references such as "based on TypeWhisper" or "fork of TypeWhisper".
- Nominative use to describe compatibility or origin.

## Not Allowed Without Prior Written Permission

- Using "TypeWhisper" as the name of a fork, distribution, product, or company.
- Using the TypeWhisper logo or app icon in a way that suggests endorsement or official status.
- Any branding that is confusingly similar to TypeWhisper.

## Forks and Redistributions

You may fork and modify the code under GPLv3 terms, but you must rename your fork and remove TypeWhisper trademarks (name, logo, app icon) unless you have explicit written permission.
