This repository began as a fork of an early version of Paperclip.

New contributions made to the Rudder project are licensed under the Apache
License, Version 2.0.

Portions derived from upstream Paperclip preserve the original MIT notice where
applicable. The preserved upstream MIT text is available in
`LICENSES/MIT-PAPERCLIP`.

This NOTICE file describes lineage and attribution for the repository. It does
not replace or modify the license terms in `LICENSE` or
`LICENSES/MIT-PAPERCLIP`.

When internals are renamed or rebranded, the repo prefers compatibility-preserving changes unless a deliberate breaking migration is planned.
