EVA-Inspired-Theme — licence ============================ This package is NOT covered by a single licence. It is a layer of our own code wrapped around third-party material, and the two do not share terms. Read this file together with NOTICE, which carries the full upstream texts. The short version, in the order that decides what you may do: * Our own code ......... MIT — use it, change it, ship it. * Brand marks .......... CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 — credit, NO commercial use, share alike. * Great Vibes font ..... SIL OFL 1.1. * The wallpaper pair ... NOT distributed and NOT licensed here. Since 2026-10-09 the two background images are third-party artwork that this repository does not carry; the tracked manifest links to them instead (D81), so a build paints them from wallhaven; see 2.3. Because the brand marks forbid commercial use, THE PACKAGE AS A WHOLE IS NOT COMMERCIAL-USE. That restriction comes from section 2.2, not from the MIT grant in section 1. If you need a commercial-use build, remove the brand marks. 1. Our own code — MIT --------------------- Everything in this package that we wrote ourselves — the host half (index.js), the client token and paint layers (src/), the build and check tooling (tools/), the vendored glue that assembles them, and the documentation in docs/ — is released under the MIT licence below. This MIT grant does not extend to any file described in section 2. Where a file is listed in section 2, that file's own terms govern it. 2. Bundled third-party material ------------------------------- 2.1 Font — build/great-vibes-latin.woff2 "Great Vibes" by TypeSETit. SIL Open Font License 1.1. Copyright 2015 The Great Vibes Pro Project Authors. The licence text ships with the package at build/great-vibes-OFL.txt, as OFL condition 2 requires. The file is an unmodified latin subset. OFL condition 3 applies: the font may not be sold on its own. No other font is redistributed — the remaining families named in src/theme.css (Bahnschrift, DIN Alternate, DIN Next, Eurostile Extended, Helvetica Neue, Inter, Arial, sans-serif) are referenced by name only and are never shipped. OFL condition 5 applies to this package: the font's reserved name is unchanged, and no file here ships under the name "Great Vibes". 2.2 Brand marks — build/brand-mark.png, build/brand-mark-dark.png, build/brand-mark.jpg CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Credits and the list of changes we made are in NOTICE section 2. Three consequences you must respect: BY — keep the credits. Attribution goes to the character's author 上善无形 (original character 溟月), the DeepSeek-element second pass by ZipZipPipe (GPT Image 2), and the refined repair by QYQCAMIAO. NC — no commercial use. Ads, sponsorship, paid distribution and paid products all count, whether or not you charge for this package. SA — share alike. brand-mark-dark.png is a derivative (see NOTICE), and any adaptation or derivative you distribute must carry the same licence. 2.3 Wallpapers — NOT distributed, hotlinked Since 2026-10-09 (D79) this repository distributes no wallpaper image, and since D81 the tracked manifest names the pictures by URL rather than leaving the layer empty. Both background images are third-party artwork, not ours, and we grant no licence in them. What this repository holds is an address and a credit, in two files: build/wallpapers.json TRACKED. Two entries, each with a `direct:` URL and the `page:` its credit belongs on. The build emits url("https://…"), so a theme built from this file paints two pictures the browser fetches, at paint time, from the host each entry names. No image bytes travel with it, and an offline machine simply has no background. out/wallpapers.local.json LOCAL, ignored by git. The same shape with `dataUrl:` entries; when it exists the build embeds those local copies instead, which is how the maintainer's own machine keeps its look. `--public` ignores it. client.js GENERATED, ignored by git. `npm run selfcheck` asserts that the tracked manifest carries no `dataUrl:` (wall.6) and that a bundle built from it resolves every `direct:` URL (wall.8). An empty manifest is still legal: it publishes `--cp-pick-light: none; --cp-pick-dark: none;`. Provenance, recorded because it is the maintainer's own record and because it is what a takedown request would be about: og33jl — wallhaven.cc/w/og33jl, 2560x1440, credited there to the artist YOTA SAKI; the entry's source link is pixiv.net/en/artworks/133258822. Uploaded to wallhaven by "Elisban". Not licensed to us. eva01city — haowallpaper.com/homeViewLook/18703364605463936, 1100x775, the light-mode default. The page credits no artist, only its uploader; the same artwork also circulates on wallhaven as x85po3, uploaded there by "BachoWilson". haowallpaper serves this preview to anonymous visitors, so the 3066x2160 original — which the maintainer holds, and which this file does not point at — is behind a signed-in download. Not licensed to us. We have no permission from either artist. If you are one of them and want the entry gone, ask and it will be dropped from the manifest. See README, "Fan work and attribution", which also keeps the maintainer's standing notice about images taken from the web. 3. What comes from where ------------------------ index.js, src/, tools/, docs/, cordis.patch.yml ... MIT (section 1) client.js ......................................... MIT (generated from src/, not tracked) build/great-vibes-latin.woff2 ..................... OFL 1.1 (2.1) build/great-vibes-OFL.txt ......................... OFL 1.1 text build/brand-mark*.png, build/brand-mark.jpg ....... CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (2.2) the wallpaper pair ................................ NOT distributed, hotlinked (2.3) Vendored code. Two files are byte-for-byte copies of code from other plugins, not written for this theme: build/plugin-toggle.js ....... dsh-disable-unofficial-plugins, MIT https://github.com/WhatCannotBeSaid/dsh-disable-unofficial-plugins build/session-eva-status.js .. dsh-session-eva-status v0.1.0, MIT https://github.com/WhatCannotBeSaid/dsh-session-eva-status Both upstreams are MIT, whose notice has to travel with copies and substantial portions. NOTICE section 3 carries both entries, and the MIT text with its copyright line is section 1 of this file. The two files are also inlined into the generated client.js, so that notice belongs with the bundle and not only with the two source files. Keep it if you redistribute either file or the bundle. The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 legal text for section 2.2 ships with this repository as LICENSE-CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0.txt; the canonical copy is https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/legalcode No `EVA`, `NERV`, `Evangelion` or Arknights artwork owned by khara, inc. or Hypergryph is distributed in this package. The only images this repository carries are the brand marks in 2.2 — both wallpapers are absent as bytes by construction (2.3), which keeps only their addresses and their credits. The theme is an unofficial, non-commercial fan work, published under khara's fan-work guideline (https://www.khara.co.jp/guideline/), which permits non-commercial fan works and licenses neither the characters nor the brand. See README, "Fan work and attribution".
