# PR5.62 — Writing gap recheck and independent public-tool probe

## Anchor entitlement and new surface

Official Free page still markets conciseness [G1], while plans and Docs support distinguish paid advanced writing [G2,G3]. This is no exact passive rule entitlement on owner Docs. Paraphraser permits limited Free daily suggestions [G4], a distinct operation; do not equate it to ordinary proofreading or infer reset counts.

The dedicated official Free Passive Voice Checker [G5] offers a narrower new test surface. In anonymous IAB, its widget loaded and accepted the existing passive input, but its Suggestions panel remained instructional without readable passive feedback. Normal keyboard re-entry did not change this. A separate spelling control (This is a sentnce.) likewise exposed no correction; a disabled popup1 later appeared. This is inconclusive feedback liveness, not proof Grammarly lacks a rule. It does not replay or resolve the owner's signed-in Docs results. No trial/login or request to reveal Pro content occurred.

## Third-candidate investigation

Slick Write's indexed official content describes free passive/style checking [S1], but direct reads timed out and IAB navigation hit ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID. No security warning was bypassed. Treat access as blocked here, not a universal failure or sufficient live rights evidence.

Real Write's dedicated passive detector [R1] was accessible anonymously. The original passive sample highlighted was written and was sent. Its summary displayed Mostly Active,2 in1 sentences,200.0%: useful construction highlights but an unsuitable sentence-share percentage and inconsistent label. The existing manual active revision returned no passive detection. These two runs showed no payment request; the global header still displayed3 credits. Separate free-detector statements from other AI tools; no limitless suite entitlement or network/privacy validation follows. The rendered help discloses heuristic misses/false positives, and does not promise automatic rewriting.

This is one operation-specific lead; it is not a third qualified alternative or full corpus completion. Preserve the metric anomaly in any future trade-off review. Sources [B1,B2] supply a Scribens lead, but no matching free rule entitlement was established and no execution was performed. No unsupported fallback to broad spelling-only scope.

## Next bounded owner check

Open https://www.grammarly.com/passive-voice-checker in owner Chrome. This explicitly tests a new public surface, not a silent replacement of signed-in Docs. Record whether anonymous/login state is shown. Paste the existing sentence: The report was written by the editor before it was sent to the team. If readable passive feedback appears, record the exact card/tier limits and recheck the existing manual revision: The editor wrote the report and sent it to the team. If nothing appears, try one independent spelling control (This is a sentnce.) and stop. Do not enable a trial, change account settings, buy access, infer blurred text or repeat the five-pair corpus. A later editorial decision is still needed to accept a surface/scope change.

Both writing routes remain zero-qualified/unapproved. No further product sweep in this pass: retain two independent gates—repeatable matching anchor operation and third exact-edition qualification—rather than promote a feature list. Screenshot proof is delivered in evidence/ outside files/; only four research/status/checker files belong in Git.

Stripe Directory skill checked first; CLI/Directory tool unavailable and agent-docs fetch unsupported content type. Used official primary sources; no service provisioning/contact/payment. Only [G1–G5,R1] were opened directly; distinguish indexed-only [S1,B1,B2]. Checked2026-10-15, no unsupported page-update dates inferred.
