# Artwork /

The twelve runtime PNG sprite sheets in `assets/` and four generated source
sheets in `assets/sources/` were generated for this project. They are separate
from the MIT-licensed code. Human selection, arrangement, and edits are reserved
by YangShen-SWE to the extent protected by applicable law. AI-generated elements
may not qualify for copyright protection everywhere; this notice does not claim
rights in third-party material.

To the extent a license is needed, you may download, install, and use the artwork
as part of `dsh-plugin-simple-pet`. You may redistribute it with an unmodified copy
of this plugin if this notice remains included. Separate reuse, resale,
relicensing, or inclusion in another product requires permission from the
copyright holder.

Four characters were generated with GPT Image 2 for this project: Snow Whale
(`snow`), Mint Tea (`mint`), Cherry Soda (`cherry`), and Star-Sand Mage (`star`).
Their source sheets are retained byte-for-byte with the embedded AI-generation
provenance. Runtime atlases are cropped, cleaned, scaled and aligned derivatives;
their PNG text identifies the original source and its SHA-256. A source signature
is NOT copied onto edited pixels. Retention is not a claim that signatures or the
certificate chain were independently verified.

The new prompts used original character descriptions rather than named existing
characters, logos or reference artwork. A limited human visual review found no
clearly identifiable copied character or brand in the new sheets. This was NOT
an exhaustive reverse-image search, third-party rights clearance, or a guarantee
of uniqueness/non-infringement. AI output can resemble existing works. Report a
specific rights concern through this repository's issue tracker.
