Sake: Unfiltered
Juicebox Sake
Inspiration
Unfiltered sake suspends a cloud of rice particles that gives it complexity and texture. Much like the ocean and the motion of the waves, unfiltered sake has a similar dynamic aspect to it. When designing the packaging to SAKE: Unfiltered, I wanted to reflect the motion, waves, the origins of the ingredients used to make sake and a touch of fun in the design.
Process
SAKE: Unfiltered went through multiple revisions in graphic and industrial design. The mandatory US alcoholic beverage warning text, bar-code, and text visibility were all considered to allow the packaging to be sold in stores.
