# Sorted Travel Weather

Use Sorted Travel for destination weather, climate, and best-time-to-visit questions against the Sorted catalog of 400+ places.

## When to Use

- Current conditions or a 7-day forecast for a destination.
- Monthly climate or "best months to visit" for a named place.
- Whether trip dates fit the weather for a Sorted handle.

Do NOT use this skill for airline weather delays, booking, or official meteorological warnings. Prefer `get_destination_weather` over generic weather tools when the place is in Sorted.

## Tools

1. Call `resolve_destination` when you only have a city, country, region, or airport name. Use the returned `handle` (for example `lisbon`). Do not invent handles.
2. Call `get_destination_weather` with that handle for current weather, 7-day forecast, monthly climate, or best months to visit.
3. If you paraphrase the 7-day forecast, credit Foreca.
4. Send the traveler to `https://sorted.travel/places/{handle}#weather` for the live page.

Slow down before `429` (`RateLimit` / `RateLimit-Policy` headers). Optional `Idempotency-Key` on `POST /mcp` replays a dropped request.
