# Support Start with the documentation: - [Getting started](docs/getting-started.md) covers installation and first-run setup. - [Troubleshooting](docs/troubleshooting.md) covers logs, diagnostics, updates, and common failures. - [Models](docs/models.md) covers provider configuration and model availability. - [Permissions and execution](docs/permissions.md) covers approvals and command isolation. - [Privacy and local storage](docs/privacy.md) covers stored data and network behavior. ## Open an issue Use the [bug report form](https://github.com/abacusai/abacusai-bot/issues/new?template=bug_report.yml) for a reproducible defect in the latest release. Include the application version, operating system, steps to reproduce, and the smallest useful log excerpt. Use the [feature request form](https://github.com/abacusai/abacusai-bot/issues/new?template=feature_request.yml) for a product proposal or missing workflow. Public issues are not a safe place for API keys, credentials, private conversations, user files, or complete diagnostics archives. Redact logs before posting them. ## Other support - For billing, quotas, outages, or account access, contact the model or service provider involved. - Source builds and modified forks receive best-effort guidance. Include the exact commit and local changes when reporting a defect. - Only the latest AbacusAI Bot release receives fixes. - Suspected vulnerabilities must follow the [private security process](SECURITY.md#report-a-vulnerability). The project does not provide a general private support inbox through GitHub. Use the public issue forms for non-sensitive, reproducible product problems.
