Masrofy is a personal finance app by Neon Studios EG. This Privacy Policy explains how Masrofy accesses, uses, processes, and protects your data.

1. Data We Access and Use

Financial Records
Masrofy stores the expenses, income records, balances, categories, merchants, dates, and app preferences you enter on your device. We do not sell your financial data.

SMS Data
With your explicit permission, Masrofy may access SMS messages using READ_SMS and RECEIVE_SMS to detect completed financial transactions from banks, wallets, cards, ATM withdrawals, transfers, salary deposits, refunds, and payments.

Masrofy uses SMS data only to identify transaction messages and create expense or income records in the app. Masrofy is designed to ignore OTP, password, login, verification, promotional, and non-transaction messages where possible.

Camera and Receipt Data
With your permission, Masrofy uses the camera to scan receipts and extract expense details such as merchant, date, and amount.

Microphone and Voice Data
With your permission, Masrofy uses microphone access for voice-based expense entry. Voice input may be converted into text and processed to create expense records.

Notifications
Masrofy may request notification permission to show reminders, spending alerts, and transaction detection alerts.

2. Third-Party Processing

Groq Cloud AI
Masrofy may send relevant text snippets from bank SMS messages, voice expense input, receipt text, and financial prompts to Groq Cloud AI to extract or classify expense details such as amount, merchant, category, currency, and transaction type.

We do not use this data for advertising, marketing, or user profiling. We do not sell this data.

Google ML Kit
Masrofy may use Google ML Kit for on-device text recognition from receipt images.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal financial records, SMS data, voice input, or receipt data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Data may be processed by third-party service providers only to provide app features, such as AI parsing or receipt text recognition.

4. Data Security

Masrofy uses secure transmission where data is sent to third-party processing services. We aim to minimize the data sent for processing and avoid sending unnecessary personal information.

5. User Control

You can revoke SMS, Camera, Microphone, and Notification permissions at any time through your device settings.

If you do not grant these permissions, Masrofy can still be used with manual expense and income entry.
