I am an incoming (2027) "Lecturer in Transport and Energy Systems" at Loughborough University, with research interests at the intersection of transportation engineering, infrastructure systems, energy systems, and applied econometrics. I hold a PhD in Transportation Engineering from Imperial College London, an MSc in Transportation from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. My work focuses on modelling travel behaviour and network performance to support the design and operation of sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems, including transport–energy integration, infrastructure evaluation, and system optimisation. I currently serve as Co-Principal Investigator on the CIRCUIT project funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), and as Co-Investigator on the INTEGRID-RISE project funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ireland. I have also contributed to the UCD-led CONUNDRUM project and am involved in the development of a major ERC Synergy Grant proposal with collaborators at Delft University of Technology and University of Thessaly. My research has been published in journals including Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part D, Energy Research & Social Science, and Sustainable Energy, Grids and Networks. Alongside research, I have contributed to teaching in transportation modelling, statistics, and infrastructure systems at Trinity College Dublin, University of Limerick, Imperial College London, and The University of Texas at Austin. I am committed to student-centred and inclusive teaching, postgraduate supervision, and interdisciplinary research collaboration in sustainable transport and energy systems.
