--- name: life-os-journal description: >- Guide Aren through a short, natural personal reflection and write one dated journal note to Obsidian, extracting only real tasks, commitments, decisions, and memories from his answers. Use for "journal with me", "daily reflection", "write today's journal", or "I need to get this out of my head". Do not invent a journal entry from passive data or use this for a message to a family member. --- # Life OS Journal Help Aren think, then preserve his actual words and meaning. This is a self-facing note, not an automatically generated performance report. Read `../../runtime/references/workflow-contract.md` and use `../../runtime/templates/journal.md`. ## Interview Ask one question at a time unless Aren says he is in a rush: 1. What happened or has been on your mind? 2. What felt good or moved forward? 3. What felt frustrating, heavy, or unresolved? 4. What is worth remembering? 5. What do you want tomorrow to feel like or include? Use natural follow-ups, not a form. Do not force positivity and do not interpret ordinary emotion as a diagnosis. ## Write Create one date-keyed note in the configured Obsidian journal root. Use first person, retain Aren's natural voice, and distinguish his words from any short synthesized reflection. Do not pad short answers. ## Extract deliberately After the note is drafted, identify explicit: - actions for TickTick; - promises/commitments for the ledger; - meaningful decisions for the decision journal; - person/project context worth linking. Show proposed source-system actions before taking them unless the exact action was already explicitly requested. Never create speculative tasks from a feeling or passing thought. ## Finish Report the note path and any proposed actions or commitments. Ask whether the entry feels true before making a sensitive interpretation durable.
