# Commercial use policy

Commercial use of Rainform is **not permitted**.

Examples of commercial use include, without limitation:

- paid downloads, subscriptions, memberships or in-app purchases;
- advertising, sponsorships, brand campaigns, affiliate links or lead generation;
- client work, commercial installations, exhibitions or event deliverables;
- inclusion in a paid product, paid feature, proprietary product or commercial service;
- resale, sublicensing or distribution intended to create commercial advantage;
- use by a business in connection with its products, marketing or operations.

Making the source visible, providing attribution or keeping a derivative free of charge does not automatically make a use noncommercial. If a project receives donations, sponsorship, business funding or promotes another paid activity, ask for written confirmation before using Rainform.

No general commercial license is offered at this time. Silence or failure to respond is not permission.
