Yesterday, we concluded March's developer challenge in the SAP Community - All about CloudEvents and event-driven architectures. Thanks to everyone who took part in it :-). I hope you had as much fun participating in the challenge as I had preparing it.

@DiegoValdivia @Jelena , you are right.... there was an issue in the platform, which was causing the data retrieved by the jobs, to generate feeds, was incorrect. The issue in the platform has now been fixed and the feeds should now be back to including proper data, e.g. there should be no comments in the blog post feeds and only include the data associated with that specific managed tag. See this issue for more information - https://github.com/ajmaradiaga/feeds/issues/11.

Hi @tobiasz_h , thanks for your interest in the challenge. Unfortunately I stopped the monitoring services because the challenge finished. That said, I've started the monitoring service again and will keep it running for a couple of days so that you can complete the exercise. Fortunately, the messages where in a queue and they have been processed (see screenshot below). The beauty of asynchronous processing.

@brodieroseyou are right.... it should be the stringToHash app variable, so that the value is set in the right field.

My formula is similar but I convert NetAmount to a NUMBER inside the MAP function...

"$" + FORMAT_LOCALIZED_DECIMAL(SUM(MAP(data.A_SalesOrderItem1,NUMBER(item.NetAmount))), "en", 2)

and for the chart I have the following:

MAP(SLICE(data.A_SalesOrderItem1, 0, 5), {x: item.Material, y: NUMBER(item.NetAmount)})

🇧🇪 SAP Build: Create Apps and Processes Without Code (Wavre, Belgium)

This is the all-new SAP CodeJam event for SAP Build (reworked in February 2024) and will give you a hands-on experience with SAP Build for building apps and business processes without code (Low Code/No Code).

You will get to know the environment by creating:

A business app for an online store (SAP Build Apps).
A business process for approving purchases (SAP Build Process Automation).

You will get to know the SAP Build lobby, where you access all your SAP Build artifacts, and get a deeper understanding of the following topics:

SAP Build Apps
- Connecting to an ABAP (ES5), S/4HANA and CAP service
- Building UIs
- Binding data
- Navigation
- Triggering processes from your app
- Scanning barcodes and implementing other mobile capabilities
- Filtering data
SAP Build Process Automation:
- Creating a process
- Adding approvals
- Implementing a rework scenario
- Creating actions
- Calling SAP backends (SAP S/4HANA Cloud and CAP services)
- Updating data
- Conditions and GoTo flows
- Custom variables

This is an in-person event only (not virtual) and is planned for Thursday, June 27th, 2024 from 09:00 - 14:00 hours local time in Wavre, Belgium. The language of the event and the content will be English.

Bring your own laptop with power adapter and have a supported Web browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox installed on your laptop.
