In the spirit of fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement, we are thrilled to announce the SAP Community "watch-and-code" parties! Running concurrently with SAP TechEd, this global half-day in-person event concept promises an exceptional opportunity for SAP enthusiasts to come together, network, learn, and code!

The SAP Community "watch-and-code" parties have been thoughtfully designed to provide a unique platform where developers, SAP enthusiasts, and professionals from all corners of the world can gather for an enriching experience with SAP TechEd at the heart of the event.

Networking, learning and coding
Participants will be able to rewatch the SAP TechEd keynote together and take part in a Q&A session and lively discussions with experts about the latest development updates. One of the highlights of the half-day event is the hands-on mini code jam session focused on extending SAP S/4HANA via SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Technical experts will host the session that covers both CAP and RAP, and invites ABAP developers to delve into the world of CAP and vice versa.

The meetups will be informal events where you can discuss, exchange ideas, share your knowledge, learn from peers and experts, and just meet new and old friends.

This is your chance to get together with Enterprise Architects in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and also get plugged into the global Enterprise Architecture SAP Community.

The events are FREE to attend.

Attend any one of our meetups in October, located at various SAP Offices including Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm for the main program, immediately followed by networking and drinks nearby from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Is “SAP NetWeaver add-on for event” in S/4HANA included for the use with AEM?

It was a fantastic experience @maheshpalavalli. I travelled from Australia and been to TechEd Bangalore few times before. I learnt a lot just being in the keynotes. Meeting community members in-person was my highlight. See you in the next event.

I would like to know if its common to see developers who build extensions on top of their S/4HANA system using both CAP and RAP programming models. I understand the difference between these two models - but curious to know if there are developers who have the skills to either use CAP or RAP depending on the requirements.
