We are using the SAP Commission module - any module is there that integrate with SAP commission and provide the forecast of business/sales.

Is there an AI service from SAP that can take documents (invoices) and read them?

I come form the SAP business one world and saw last year that it is possible with BTP to scan a PDF invoice and save it as an AP invoice. Does S/4HANA have that as a capability. Not just invoices but any document type as we are looking at the possibilities of what is possible.

hey, i'm currently doing this tutorial and need help because if i run the code it doesnt really work. For me its also not clear where i get the API_Key and how I get the ai deployment ID and in general how and where i deploy the Azure Model. Could someone please help me. I'm really really new in this topic but very intrested and motivated to learn more but at the moment i'm just kinda stuck.

For me the 1.)OpenAI_Base 2.) ai deployment ID 3.) ENGINE and the 4.)API_KEY to connect with the mobile app etc are missing and i'm not clear how and where to get them..

As a long-time administrator of the SF system I feel that the biggest bang for your time is to update the core features of SF with your AI functionality to not only sell your product, but enhance your current users' experience. Simple updates like better search prediction, name prediction, predictive text in ALL picklist fields are ways to really get this product to step up to where its competitors are and help us users feel that the AI features are useful all around not just selectively placed.

We are looking to enable Joule. However before doing so, we want to understand more about following question. Please share your thoughts on these questions.

1. Which LLM model is SAP using? Is it homegrown or Other models like GPT, BERT or LLAMA?

2. How is SAP addressing the hallucination issues?

3. Any other terms and condition that SAP want Client to accept in order to use Gen AI/Joule?
4. Is same LLM used in various modules or different LLM used ? For example for Job description one LLM, For SF chatboat another LLM model?
5. What are the update cadence for the SAP LLM Product like schedule release or Adhoc release?

We want our AI model to be trained with all the data available from the parent link and the sub links.

Unavailability of AI Core and AI Launchpad in discovery center

Is there a reason that the SAP AI Core and SAP AI launchpad are not showing up in the discovery center?

These services show up as free tier in the SAP Discovery Center. But when I try to add this service in my sub account, it does not show up as a service plan for my account.

Can anyone help me with this? I am facing this error while trying to follow the following tutorial. Also another tutorial.

Hi Dirk,

based on your PAL procedure example, here is a simple example using anonymous blocks, you don't have to declare the structure of the PAL procedure output:

The constraint if structures require to be declared or not comes from SQL Script.

Please note, usage of the Python Machine Learning client might be helpful, as you can script in Python and capture the ad-hoc generated SQL for the PAL procedure or even utilize methods to generate procedure code / even design-time artifacts. Just as another helping note.

LLM, RAG and Cloud Foundry: No space left on device

We need to use the features in a cloud foundry python app. Unfortunately the installation of

package

sentence-transformers (as part of the requirements.txt file) always leads to a "no space left on device" error during build.

The memory limit is set to 8G, the disk space to 10G in the manifest.yml.

How can we solve this issue in the SAP BTP cloud foundry environment ?

Any help is highly appreciated.
